Jodi L. Wise, PTA, BA
Dr. Wise received his PT degree from Arcadia University and his doctoral degree from Widener University. Dr. Wise is a certified athletic trainer (ATC), certified manual therapist (MTC), has received his board certification as a clinical specialist in orthopaedics (OCS) and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). He is currently pursuing his PhD at Nova Southeastern University.In addition to being co-owner of Wise Physical Therapy, Dr. Wise is the Program Director and Associate Professor of Physical Therapy within the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Alvernia University. Previously, he was Clinical Associate
Professor in the Institute for Physical Therapy Education at Widener University and former Program Director for the PTA Program at Alvernia. He is previous owner of WISEfeet, P.C., a functional foot orthotic prescription service, and co-owner of Therapeutic Articulations, LLC, a provider of educational resources for Physical Therapists.Dr. Wise’s clinical and research interests lie in the areas of orthopaedic manual physical therapy of the spine and lower extremity biomechanics. He has published on classification of shoulder impairment syndromes and has collaborated in the publication of two monographs for the Orthopaedic Section of the APTA on manual PT for the cervical spine and post-surgical management of the thoracic spine. He has presented the results of his research including a model for teaching Grade V spinal mobilization as well as several case studies related to the application of orthopaedic manual PT techniques.In 2009, Dr. Wise co-authored a text entitled, “Mobilization Notes: A Rehabilitation Specialists Pocket Guide” (F.A. Davis). His second textbook entitled, “Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy: From Art to Evidence” (F.A. Davis) was published in 2015. He has also initially co-authored an iPod application entitled, “iOrtho+”, which is currently available on the iTunes and Android markets. Dr. Wise has been involved in teaching continuing education courses on manual physical therapy for over fifteen years. Chris and Jodi have 4 children and enjoy travelling and engaging in various athletic activities.
Jodi has also had extensive experience in the outpatient physical therapy setting as well where she worked closely with the orthopaedic population in restoring function following injury and in the area of wound care. As co-owner of Wise Physical Therapy, Jodi manages the front office and is actively involved in providing patient care.
Jodi received her Associate’s of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Alvernia University and her Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science with a Certificate in Human Resources from Alvernia University. Jodi received the honor of outstanding clinician based on her performance during her clinical affiliation experiences.Jodi has been a practicing therapist for 20 years specializing in geriatric rehabilitation for the last 10 years. She has taught regional seminars to practicing therapists in the area of Falls and Balance and in the principles of exercise and strengthening for the senior population. Prior to this, Jodi was the lab skills coordinator and instructor in the PTA Program at Alvernia University, where sheorganized labs taught and tested clinical skills, and mentored students.

Dr. O’Donohue received his PT degree from Boston University (1985) and his doctoral degree from Temple University (2007). He is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) since 2002, Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer (ATC), and a Fellow in Applied Functional Science (FAFS) from the Gray Institute. He has been an Orthopaedic Physical Therapist for over 30 years. Dr. O’Donohue is an Assistant Professor in the PT Department at Alvernia University.
Wendy Kuchenbrod, Personal Fitness Trainor
Wendy joins WISE PT & Wellness as our Senior Fitness Instructor. She is certified in personal fitness training and a Silver Sneaker instructor. Wendy enjoys leading group exercise as well as designing individual one on one exercise programs. As a former patient, she has become an advocate for Physical Therapy and values the importance of pursuing a healthy lifestyle.
Colleen Haas, LMT
Colleen graduated from Health Options Institute in 2017 as a licensed Massage Therapist. She enjoys a massage style that incorporates a blend of different modalities and techniques to achieve relaxation and wellness for each individual. Colleen's experience includes chair massage, chiropractor settings, a Physical Therapy office, and running her private business. Prior to starting on the path as a massage therapist, Colleen attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with an emphasis in infant and child development. Colleen Plans to continue her education in massage therapy by studying different modalities such as cranial structural therapy, reflexology, advanced medical massage techniques, and utilizing essential oils to enrich the massage therapy experience for each client. Colleen lives in Orefield, Pa with her husband, Kurt and two children, Ryan and Ashley.
